John Lennon, Music Therapy and Mermaids
On Wednesday afternoons, Sophie has music therapy. It's one of the things that she does that I would say is pure pleasure for her. During the last six months or so, when budget cuts forced us to stop the therapy (it was no longer paid for by our Regional Center), and as Sophie's near-constant seizures rendered her less responsive, we have missed it. Now, thanks to a grant that helps us to pay for it, music therapy has started up again. Yesterday, Oliver joined in and wrote a song for Sophie -- I dubbed him John Lennon and took this very lame video.
